St Vincent's House supported living apartments are home to people who require additional support to live independently. St Vincent's is in need of a communal space where people can get together to socialise with each other, their families & friends.

Story

As Lady Captain of Maxstoke Park Golf Club for 2020, I chose the Adrian Southall Community Room project as my charity. Its is a local project which is important to me. I have personal connections via Sadie Middleton and through some of the residents, having previously been pupils at Woodlands School, which has close historic links with Maxstoke Park Golf Club. We have already raised over £6000.00 during 2020, a very difficult year for fund raising events. The 54 Hole Golf challenge was delayed due to lockdown and will now take place on the 19th of June 2021 at 3 different golf courses ( Drayton, Stonebridge and Maxstoke Park). The 2020 Maxstoke Park Ladies champion Sarah Longstaff will be embarking upon this arduous challenge with myself.

About St Vincent's House:

St Vincent's House is part of Father Hudson's supported living project in Coleshill. We have ten residents who live in St Vincent's House and they're all reaping the benefits of independent living within the community. All the residents and staff at St Vincent's House have a fantastic working relationship with one another. They find the care, understanding and support they need to live their lives on equal terms, to the full, within the community. Since St Vincent's House opened in 2015, the residents and staff have always wanted a communal area for socialising with each other, their families and their friends. It would reduce their risk of isolation in their own flats.
