The Swindon Advertiser is 160 years old this year and to celebrate we are launching one of our most ambitious charity appeal's to date.

So we have entered a team into the Rotary Club of Swindon Phoenix's Dragon Boat Race at Coate Water on June 29.

We hope you can help us raise at least £1,000 for this event alone, and why not come and watch on the day - there is a high likelihood we'll capsize and that's got to be worth a tenner!
