Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit team Aerow-row-row your boat's JustGiving page.

Who are we supporting:

We are raising money for Sue Ryder a charity who provide care for people with life changing illness. This can be through around the clock care in their hospices or care centres. For others, it's about day visits to one of their care centres. And for some its through specialist visits at home. This helps people with their health needs, and keeps them involved in their community.

So how are we raising money

We have 16 rowers and a drummer who will be taking on the challenge of rowing a 40ft long boat, decorated with a dragon head and tail, across the Bristol Docks in a battle to win Bristol's Dragon Boat Race, which will be taking place on Sunday 22nd September.

The Helm steers the boat and paddlers are kept in time by the drummer. It is a 250metre course which will have 3 heats to post the best time. Fastest teams then progress to two semi finals of 4 or 5 boats and then a final of 4 boats.
