Aidan and Richard ran the Great North Run (half marathon) for the first time on Sunday 20 September 2009 to raise money for Martin House, a childrens hospice in Boston Spa.   It was a sunny and hot day, and we were both pleased to beat our personal best times - Richard finished in 1:43 and Aidan was a few minutes behind with a time of 1:46.

Many thanks to those who have sponsored us so generously, and for those who haven't yet but would like to we will keep the just giving page open for the next week or so.
