Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
For those of you who know me will know that I am always up for an adventure of some sort and have always enjoyed thrill seeking activities. Over lockdown I’ve started exploring some of Scotlands Munros.
On the 8th of June I’ve set myself a new challenge, I will be climbing one of Skyes most iconic Munro’s- Sgurr Dearg and it’s infamous inaccessible pinnacle often referred to as Britain’s most challenging and iconic Munro at 986m high. This will be guided by an experienced mountain instructor. This will be my biggest challenge yet and will involve a roped climb followed by an abseil.
I had planned to do this for fun but thought it would be a great opportunity to raise money for a charity which I am extremely passionate about- Rape Crisis Grampian.
Rape Crisis provide support to survivors of rape and sexual assault. With it also being sexual assault awareness month and with the recent stories highlighted in the media following some tragic events, I feel my charity of choice is very fitting.
I would love for any money raised from me climbing this particular Munro to go towards supporting survivors of rape and sexual assault.
I would be grateful for any donations every penny counts! Please share and donate if you can!
Thank you in advance
