Story
Thank you for visiting our JustGiving fundraising page.
On Sunday 11 April, 2010, we ran the Paris Marathon. We both finished in good time and enjoyed completing the race.
Thanks to generous donations from family, friends and colleagues we have been able to raise money for Bowel Cancer UK. More than 36,500 men and women are diagnosed with bowel cancer in the UK every year, making it the third most common cancer; that’s someone every 15 minutes. Bowel cancer is the second most common cause of cancer death in the UK and more than 16,000 people die each year; that’s someone every 30 minutes. If diagnosed early, bowel cancer is highly treatable. Bowel Cancer UK aims to save lives by raising awareness of bowel cancer, campaigning for best treatment and care and providing practical support and advice.
Please send our JustGiving page on to anyone else who might like to donate - it will remain active until 11 July 2010.
