Story
Much to my shock (even after all the month’s of training!), I completed the London London Marathon this year. I was so inspired by all the amazing support I received, I decided to run the Royal Park’s half marathon.
I am running for SENSE, a charity for dearblindness. I was inspired to run for SENSE because my Granddad was deaf and dumb and lived his life through a notebook. He taught me one of my greatest life’s lessons; you don’t need spoken words to communicate.
However, I dedicate this race to a very special young friend of mine who tragically passed away last year. He communicated in a very beautiful way and gave more than a lifetime of love in his short years. My lesson from him is to love like you will never be hurt.
Please help me reach my target as I run this race to honour the memory of a beautiful little person, Daniel Aged 4 years and 9 months, who continues to touch my soul everyday.
If you are wondering what your donation will do, it’s pretty amazing ….
