The RWAF is trying to block a planning application for a rabbit meat farm in Cornwall. If the application is successful, thousands of rabbits a year will endure miserable, short lives in tiny cages before being slaughtered for their meat and fur.

Story

I am doing the Hugh Oldham award at school and one of my tasks is to evidence charity fundraising. I would like to raise as much money as possible for my favourite animal, the rabbit. As you know, I often help causes such as foodbanks with donations from my pocket money but this cause is close to my heart and any donation will be paid directly to the Rabbit Welfare Fund which educates the public about how to care properly for pet rabbits and that they have a good quality of life. Kind regards. Dhilan Sastry

Rabbits are the third most popular pet in the UK, and yet many live miserable lives confined to small hutches with little or no space, companionship or exercise. The RWAF aims to improve the lives of these beautiful, intelligent and neglected animals. Because rabbits deserve better!
