Feed the starving children of Syria · 1 February 2014

Human Appeal provides relief to victims of natural disasters, wars and social hardship. It improves the quality of life of underprivileged communities through our projects that aim to provide education, health and social development. It looks after the wellbeing of orphans.

Story

"Give (regular charity) out of your property, for truly it is a purifier..." (Rasulullah SAW)"

Sponsored by Lime House Restaurant, Luton.

JazakAllah Khair for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

"Worldly goods are an object of love in everybody's eyes, being the means by we enjoy the benefits of this world. Because of them, we become attached to life and shy away from death, even though death leads us to meet the Beloved (Allah).

The truth of our claim to love God is therefore put to the test, and we are asked to give up the wealth which is the apple of our eye." - Inner Dimensions of Islamic Worship by Abū Hamid Muhammad ibn Muhammad al-Ghazālī.

I recently attended an event on Syria and was left in tears on seeing the suffering of the women and children. I was most distraught at seeing a video of a 4 month old baby girl dying of starvation in her mothers arms. As a result I have commited to raise £10000 for a flour consignment to Syria (to feed 4000 starving civilians).

InshaAllah you will be able to help in this endeavour by making a donation, whatever you can within your means.

May Allah reward you for your efforts.
