Alan Hadcroft, a larger than life character, who lived life to the full, sadly passed away aged 66 following a long battle with prostate cancer.  Throughout his life he was determined, loyal and ambitious but above all loved life and everyone who met him either through work, socially or family carry their own memories of a special man.  The motto 'Work Hard Play Hard' epitomised his attitude to life and describes Alan to a T.   His love of Bolton Wanderers is legendary around the world.  The way in which he approached his illness was an inspiration to everyone and he carried his fight with great dignity and a positive attitude until his sad and sudden end.

 

Rather than buying flowers in memory of Alan, it is our belief that he would have preferred a contribution to The Prostate Cancer Charity, to help provide funds to help others who suffer from this unfortunate but all too common disease.
