Story

As I'm sure many of you are aware, my mum passed away last year after a long battle with motor neurone disease. MNDA is the only national charity focused on motor neurone disease care, research and campaigning.

For those who don't know motor neurone disease (MND) is a progressive disease which attacks the nerves in the brain and spinal cord. The brains messages stop reaching muscles, leading to wasting.

My nephew Jack will be running the Junior Spartan on September 28th. A half mile junior race with packed with obstacles.

Martin and I will be running the Spartan Sprint and Spartan Super races in preparation for the Spartan Beast on Oct 11th. A gruelling 20k+ race over mud, hills, slopes and ditches with obstacles involving fire, barbed wire, climbing and possibly a few tears.

Any money raised will go to help MNDA raise awareness of this disease, and help with the much needed care and research.

Thanks again and dig deep, it means a lot.
