Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. 

I am walking from Land's End to John O'Groats in memory of my dog Alfie who died in 2020 and I shall be linking a number of long distance footpaths to complete it. I have been planning on doing this walk for many years, but have had to wait until I retired in order to do so as it will take about three months to finish.

Since September 2021 I have been working as a volunteer dog walker at Eden Animal Rescue near Penrith. The staff there are doing an amazing job helping neglected, abandoned, homeless or unwanted animals and arranging the provision of loving homes for them.  For those that cannot be rehomed, they remain at Eden Animal Rescue in a loving environment for the remainder of their lives, as they never destroy an animal.

Eden Animal Rescue is entirely independent and proud to save animals other rescues refuse to help. They never turn down an animal in need. They rescue hundreds of dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and ferrets each year.

Eden Animal Rescue depend on voluntary donations from members of the public to be able to care for the animals.
