At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

There is no crueller disease than that, that drains all signs of life from a person. I watched my mother suffer from the grip of Alzheimer's for 6 years, existing not living for the final years in Highgrove Care Home, made as comfortable as possible thanks to all the great staff there.

In the last few years I have developed a passion for cycling and have aspired to ride the London to Paris challenge. I am grateful therefore to have the opportunity to raise money for Alzheimer's whilst achieving my dream.

Please give generously, we need to find a cure for this hideous disease.
