Last year i decided to do the Ride London event to raise money for The Space Centre in Preston. This year for my sins i  have decide to cycle the Ride London  - Essex 100miles for charity, and couldn't think of a worthier cause than to raise more money for The Space Centre once again. 

My first experience of The Space Centre was after friends had a daughter with significant difficulties, and a life limiting diagnosis. I have seen how hard trying to manage their family life and activities has been as all their children had different needs, and its not easy trying to find somewhere they can all have time together. The Space Centre has given them that opportunity to have real family time. Seeing their daughter to be able to be hoisted out of her wheelchair, and have a sensory experience that she can share with the rest of the family is amazing, and there are so many other families that share similar experiences. Please take a look at their website to see what a fantastic place The Space Centre is, and the wonderful facilities they provide. Space is such a specialist niche area that in order to offer these facilities a lot of hard work goes in to raising funds for the specialist equipment, repairs and maintaining equipment, and needs support from the public to keep it open. So this is where i come in, and with your donations we can all help.
I am going to cycle the Ride London -Essex 100 (miles) event this coming May along with over 100,000 other cyclists. Please donate what you can. Every penny will help me reach my target of £300.00 minimum, but hoping with your help we can raise more. Thank you.
