Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm cycling 1000 miles at an average rate of 70 miles a day over two weeks, to get from John O'Groats to Lands End to raise money for a wonderful charity - The Otter's Retreat.  They provide care and love for children with severe disabilities and their families.  Our daughter, Rebekah has been helped by them and it would be great to raise more money to fund their excellent work.

The Otters Retreat, is run by Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust.  It provides short breaks to families whose children
have profound multiple disability and unstable complex health care needs.  It is a vital service run by dedicated staff who provide a warm and safe environment for children aged between from birth to 18. It is run by qualified nurses and experienced care staff.  The children who use the Otter's Retreat can come in for one night with with their families or longer for respite care. The Otter's Retreat gives families an important break because looking after these children is extremely hard work.

So, please dig deep and donate to this wonderful cause.
