Well this is the project that I moved to over 5 years ago. At the time it was already reasonably well known and respected in the local area both by young people and other youth service providers. Over those years we have been able to expand the project so that we are now running youth projects in 10 different locations across Cambridgeshire. We have recently recieved funding to allow us to purchase a second bus which will be arriving at end of the year, but still need to raise money for the running costs and some refurbishment of the existing bus. In April our budget showed a defecit of £16,000 and every penny you are able to give will help towards this.

The sort of work we are involved in:

·         Sees young people working with youth workers to produce a CV and find work

·         Sees young people gain sections of their Duke of Edinburgh Award by volunteering as helpers

·         Sees young people learn vital information about sexual health, drugs, alcohol and other issues

·         Sees young people working together to start their own youth club in their community

·         Sees young people being supported by youth workers in dealing with Social Services

·         And sees young people receiving the help and advice they need, when and where they need it
