Story
Hi everyone, as most of you all know in October 2017 I was diagnosed with a brain tumour. I have been given the news that my tumour is currently stable. This means that I do not require any further treatment at the moment. If my tumour grows then I may need treatment; whether it be chemo or radiotherapy.
Fortunately my treatment didn’t cause me to lose my hair only small shaved patches here or there due to the surgeries. I’ve seen how hair loss can affect people whether it’s due to Cancer or another disease. I know it’s short notice but on August 17th I will be doing a sponsored haircut. I will be donating 8inches to The Little Princess Trust and I will be raising money for The Teenage Cancer Trust.
The TCT are a fantastic charity and they have helped me so much. Being off school for the full year was hard and so was coming to terms with my diagnosis. The support you receive from them is out of this world. The social events they organise, completely free of charge, are also amazing and always cheered and continue to cheer me up. I’ve met amazing people through the trust and I would like to give something back. Obviously you do not need to feel obliged to sponsor me but any donation big or small would be greatly appreciated. Thank you x
