Story

Updated on Jul 8th 2012 at 7:18 PM from the JustGiving API

So you may know that I've already started on my journey. I see this as a big personal challenge in itself, but I've had so many people get in touch that I figured it might be worth letting others benefit from my pain. The choice to support Blesma in particular came down to something they offer outwith their normal remit. In addition to fantastic work they do in rehabilitation of injured servicemen, they also offer respite care at their residential homes for ex-servicemen. My late grandfather spent some time in their home in Crieff and I have always wanted to do something to recognise the support they do offer. So please dig deep if you either support this cause, or would alternatively prefer to see me suffer for a cause. Finally, I completely disagree with people using charity fundraising to pay for going on what is essentially a holiday, so please be assured that my trip is entirely self funded and any donations you make will go directly to the charity.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
