I completed the London Marathon 2017 and unfortunately had bad cramp from mile 9, meaning that I did not reach my target time as I was hobbling around. For this reason, and to raise some more money for Make-a-Wish, I’ve decided to take on the challenge again - this time training harder and smarter to finish within my target time.
I would appreciate any donations, as I’ve signed up late I have two months to raise £2000! Please give generously - they are an amazing charity and give so much by granting life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses.
Thanks for reading, stay lit!
Make-A-Wish UK grant magical wishes to enrich the lives of children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions.
Granting their wish provides seriously ill children with hope for the future, strength to cope and resilience to fight their condition. They’re given quality time away from the daily realities of living with their condition and given the chance to make magical memories they can treasure forever – whatever their future may hold.
We want to transform the lives of 1,000 children this year by granting their One True Wish!
