Hello I am Aleesha Skandamoorthy, aged 11 from Blenheim High School and I will be fundraising in The Ashley Centre on Saturday 1 November 2014 to raise vital funds for The Children's Trust, the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury. My extended family and a number of friends from Blenheim and Downsend Schools have been busy creating handicraft products such as loom bands, beaded bracelets, paintings and painted mugs which my friends and I will be selling to raise funds for the charity. This event is advertised in the local press - e.g http://www.epsomguardian.co.uk/events/Epsom/1009619.Event.Local_Scout_Fundraises_in_Epsom/?s=6ef0043b73ac55fc6ee6e001352400a9&i=8
I also made a Community Matters application to Waitrose Worcester Park branch who kindly agreed to run collections after my charity sale event during December 2014.
And I am a member of 4th Ewell (Nonsuch) Scouts Group and chose to raise funds for my children's charity as part of the Scouts Community Service badge.
