Ah, ha ha, and you thought you'd got away with it...  I thought that as I'm doing this, I may as well try and squeeze some cash out of you guys, not that it isn't for a good cause, of course.  

UNICEF raises money for good causes around the world for disadvantaged children.  As an added incentive for me, please consider donating a lump sum or regular amount to this cause. 

Think of it as a voluntary tax (that you actually want to pay!) because that's all that charity is.  Our governments may squander a proportion of our hard earned tax on stuff we don't always agree with, but this is our opportunity to share our good fortune living in a first world nation, by sharing the love. 

I will continue to run at least 5 km a day regardless, because I enjoy it. It's helped me feel great and lose weight and it's what I want to do - so not so much a hardship for me, I guess.  However, I started March 19th 2014, so March 18th 2015 is still a long way off...
