With New Year’s approaching and no resolution in mind it became apparent to a few friends and I during 'Movemeber', that it might be nice to do something a little more challenging. I however, ended up agreeing to grow my hair and beard for a year in this process. It felt only right then, if I am going to do this that i should raise money for a good cause. 

Living in Leeds as a student I am accustomed to budgeting money. However there is also a noticeable homeless population living within the city centre. It then became obvious to me that these are the people that i should be helping, rather than just handing out change. 

Not only will i be trying to raise money by growing my hair, but awareness to, as it will become quite obvious after a year that my looks have become slightly scruffier and in tune with the cause that i am supporting.
