Snowdon climb · 15 May 2019

We provide air ambulance and critical care across Bristol, B&NES, North Somerset, Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire and surrounding areas. On average we attend 5 incidents every day. As a charity we need to raise £4m each year to keep flying. Your Charity, Saving Lives together

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On May 15th 2019, 11 members of Bristol Airport’s Terminal Operations department (12 including our mascot Rusty the cockapoo), will be heading to beautiful North Wales to scale the dizzy heights of Mount Snowdon (all 3560 feet of it!!) We are a group of very mixed abilities - some have never climbed a mountain before, others have many times. But we are all agreed we want to raise vital funds for the Great Western Air Ambulance - Bristol Airport’s Charity of the Year for 2019 - and have some fun along the way!

So please everyone, spare anything you can for this very worthwhile cause. It costs over £3 million every year to keep GWAA operational. Many of us airport workers have seen them in action and they truly are lifesavers. Thank you from all of us (Nick P, Alex S, Matt, Lisa H, Phil, Sarah F, Jemma, Jason S, Alison, Asta and Christian) for your support!
