In 2019, Gloucestershire's Deaf Association (GDA for short) turns 100 years old and as part of their upcoming celebrations they are looking for 100 people to take on a challenge.

It can be any challenge you want- cook, make something, cycle, swim, jump out of a plane, host and event, run, climb, bake. Absolutely anything- its up to you. If you want to take on a challenge please contact the GDA on 01452 372999 or admin@gda.org.uk

The challenge that I am taking part in, is a 969 mile cycle ride from Lands End to John O`Groats on static bikes. It will start on October 19th at 5pm and finish October 20th at 5pm; yes 24 hours! The event is being held at GDA, Colin Road, Barnwood, Gloucester GL43JL. Spectators and supporters are welcome, and can get involved.........

The plan:

There will be four static bikes available. Three will be used to cycle 900 miles, the fourth bike will be used to cycle the remaining 69 miles and everyone is welcome to contribute some distance. So if you feel you could only cycle a mile you can still take part.

Please support me in this event to raise money for a fantastic charity so they can continue to support the thousands of deaf and hard of hearing children, young people and adults in Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and South Gloucestershire.
