Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

If you told me a year ago that I wouldn’t have my beautiful mummy here, and that I’d be running the London Marathon, I wouldn't have believed you!

In 1995, when my mummy was 32, she ran her first London Marathon and set a personal best at 3 hours, 36 minutes. I am also 32 and just trying my best to follow in her fabulous footsteps.

I cannot bring my mummy back but I can make
sure to do my best to keep her name and legacy going. I want to ensure that more research is done into finding a cure for this horrendous disease and that is why I’ve set up the Nicki Waterman Foundation to raise money and awareness for Brain Tumour Research.

Thank you so much for helping towards this
wonderful cause xxx

The Nicki Waterman Foundation is raising funds for Brain Tumour Research. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease and Brain Tumour Research supports vital research, aiming to find a cure for brain tumours.
