Lands End John O'Groats

Lands End to John O'Groats · 31 July 2017
As a beginner to cycling hearing about the famous ride across the length of mainland UK seemed like a monumental challenge, but something inspiring. Now is the time to finally take on the challenge.
Cycling is an incredibly freeing sport, giving feelings of independence and joy. I am excited to amplify the great feeling of freedom and independence that cycling gives by carrying a tent, sleeping bag and food with me on my bike. Inspired by many bike packers I've seen on YouTube to ride solo carrying all the things I'll need! That being said, anyone kind enough to offer me a spare bed, sofa or even floor space to sleep on during the ride, please get in touch, this would be greatly appreciated!
Taking on this kind of an adventure is something I am very excited for, but is also an opportunity to do good by doing it in support of a charity. Scope do a lot of work with disabled people, helping with simple day to day life to help out and importantly to allow them to do things otherwise may not have been possible making life more enjoyable. Helping to bring happiness to everyone.
