The idea of leaving aside an acreage of land for nature to revert back to its original splendour goes against many a conservationist's methods, which is a more hands on approach with active management. However, the Knepp Castle Estate, Oostvaardersplassen and other's projects have proven that nature, itself, is able to flourish and prosper without our intervention.
