Alex enriched the lives of all who knew him. He was a kind hearted, free spirited friend to many. He filled our lives with so much joy. Unfortunately he was taken from us way too early in life.

Alex had the opportunity to live all over the world through his 22 years service with Her Majesty's Diplomatic Service. He formed friendships, bonds and special memories everywhere he travelled. He loved life and lived each day to the fullest making sure all those around him had a good time and many laughs.

Alex loved playing golf and football.  He was passionate about supporting Celtic FC.

Alex leaves behind a multitude of happy memories. He also leaves behind his partner of 9 years, Karen and their 18 month old daughter Louisa along with his children Ciara, Sean, Chloe and Isabelle; his parents Peter and Sandra and brothers Peter, Mark and Gerry.

Our lives will never be the same without our beloved Alex.
