London Triathlon 2017 · 22 July 2017 to 23 July 2017 ·

The trust aims to support educational causes that were dear to Hazel Scott Aiton, who had taken a gap year in a school in Namibia. It aims to give financial assistance to people embarking on voluntary work overseas and help poorer countries help themselves in the long term through supporting better education.

Story

On the 22nd of July my brother and I will be participating in the  AJ Bell Olympic distance London triathlon and will be raising money for Hazel’s Footprints Trust, a charity founded in 2005 in memory of our cousin who was killed in a car accident.

Since its foundation HFT has worked to provide support for various education and development projects in impoverished communities globally. From providing funding for school books and salaries for teachers, to the redevelopment of an entire school in Kenya, the charity has done a lot of fantastic work and in fundraising we hope to contribute towards the continuation of this.

We believe it is a great cause that makes a lasting difference to the lives of individuals less fortunate than ourselves, and we would be extremely grateful for any donations.

Many thanks in advance. If you would like to find out more about the charity and the work it does, please feel free to drop us a message or check out the website (www.hazelsfootprints.org).
