A few years ago my grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. I've witnessed first-hand what this disease does not just to the person but to the family. Also this year one of my closest friend's mother was diagnosed with a form of Alzheimer's.This disease affects so many people, its time to help. 

I'm taking part in running the Reading Half Marathon on April 1, 2012 to help raise money for the Alzheimer's Society which is the United Kingdom's leading care and research charity.
