Story

Do you enjoy baking? If so, why not give Emma Proctor's buttercream filled cupcakes a go yourself!

This time is financially challenging for many but it would be great if you could donate some of these pennies you've been able to save during lockdown to RB's charity, Hull Homeless Community Project. We are suggesting a minimum donation of £2.

HHCP are struggling, as they have been throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, to provide the support required to the vulnerable people they work with. The second half of the year will be even more challenging with a probable increase in homeless presentations when the ban on evictions ends in August.

Following donation, please put your name and email address on the spreadsheet. We will then send you across an email containing the ingredients, written step-by-step recipe and a video of Layla baking to show you how it is done!

Anyone can become homeless, it damages individuals, affects families and communities, we believe in most cases homelessness can be prevented. We believe that with the right approach, funding, government support and community education that homelessness can end. We believe that prevention is the answer, sustainable housing stock, social property investment and a housing first approach will break homelessness.
