Story
Hello everyone
I haven't done a sponsored event since I was about 9 but I couldn't resist the chance to abseil 600ft down a skyscraper in London, especially for London's Air Ambulance who do such amazing work every day in London taking the A&E room to the patient and saving Londoners lives. Even if the helicopter does take off during your final year OSCE exam while you're trying to listen to someones heart for a murmur.... (actually happened to me - still got the murmur and passed though!).
If you could spare a £1 or ten or whatever you want, I would appreciate it. I have paid to do the abseil and all your money will be going to HEMS (Helicopter Emergency Medical Service) who look after 10 million Londoners 24/7/365 with the car service bringing doctors to the scene at night when the chopper can't fly (actually it's that it's dangerous to land...)
You can give by text message (write: LOND 53 £amount u want to donate) and send it to 70070
or on justgiving.com/alexis-gilbert
or cash into my hand...
Thanks and much appreciated.

On 26 April I am going to be abseiling 585 feet down (35 stories) off Broadgate Tower in Liverpool Street to raise money for HEMS.
Londons Air Ambulance is run completely as a charity and relies on the funding from donations to continue to provide the amazing service to Londoners they do. If you are seriously ill in London they get a doctor to you in a matter of minutes, but more importantly take you quickly to the best hospital to treat your specific problem.
I've paid to do the abseil and all your money will go to HEMs to help save Londoners lives. So please sponsor me, even if it's £1, every little helps!
Thanks
Alexis
