I'm 8 year-old Alfie Donnelly from Erdington I'm running the Great Birmingham Run with my daddy helping me to raise funds for Young at Heart 

Young at Heart supports families under the care of Birmingham Childrens Hospital cardiac team like me, I was born with a rare and complex heart condition and so far have had 3 open heart surgeries and I need more.

Young at Heart put on social events and a brilliant Christmas party so me and my heart friends all with special hearts can get together and have fun.

I'm a young ambassador for the charity and like helping the charity and spread the word and raise awareness of poorly hearts in children and hope one day my heart and all the other poorly hearts can be fixed.
