Story
On Sunday 16th October, I'll be taking on a skydive challenge and jumping out of a plane at 15,000ft to help raise money for rescued horses and ponies.
During these challenging economic times, I know that charities like the Mare and Foal Sanctuary need my support more than ever. Caring for horses has so many benefits, but it isn't cheap and I know that even more horses and ponies are going to be in need of rescue over the coming year.
I'll be honest, I'm incredibly nervous, but I know I need to step out of my comfort zone to make the biggest difference to these animals as I can.
That's why I'm taking on this challenge of a lifetime, to help provide lifelong, life-changing loving care to even more horses and ponies in need.
I'd be so grateful for your support with my fundraising challenge, either through sponsorship donations or words of encouragement.
Thank you.
We’re the place for people who want to make a difference to the lives of foals, horses and ponies. The Mare and Foal Sanctuary rescues horses and ponies that have been abandoned, neglected or abused. We also ensure that horses and ponies have a sanctuary for life. Most horses and ponies are given care for life through our network of knowledgeable carers. Those horses and ponies with more complex needs are cared for in our peaceful sanctuaries.
