I ask you to cast your mind forward to the future, just for a moment if you can...its Sunday morning, 9:30am, 4th Oct 2009, the walking boots are on...the rain jacket at the ready...the biscuits on hand for 'energy'...and the first step is taken...the first of many as we undertake a 10 mile walk for my favourite charity Andreas Gift...4 hours later we return, sore feet, wind beaten...but smiling...because we have just managed to raise £50 (or more!?!) to contribute to the most wonderful charity...now theres a vision!! I am sure you agree....

Andrea’s Gift is Yorkshire’s leading brain tumour charity, providing funds for brain tumour research and patient support.

By working closely with the clinicians who treat brain tumour patients in areas of neuro surgery and neuro oncology, we feel that we have a good understanding of the work needed to improve the experience for everyone, and provide a level of support for patients and carers in their very personal battles with the disease.

We aim to raise £1m by 2010, having raised over £800,000 so far, please help us to achieve this target and help and support brain tumour patients in Yorkshire.
