Story

Whenever we visit our local beach we are shocked to see the amount of litter that is left lying around the beaches. Especially following warm, sunny weather,  so we thought we could challenge ourselves to pick up litter for 14 days in our local area whilst trying to raise money to help the children in Yemen. These children lack access to basic needs of food, water and healthcare and we would really like to help them.

We would also like to keep this up and hope it encourages others around us to help clean up our beautiful beaches and protect our wildlife.

Beta Charitable Trust has worked passionately in some of the most destitute and deprived areas of the world to provide basic human rights to the poorest of individuals. We believe that clean water, sanitation, food, medical care and education are the fundamental rights of every human being. We are committed to supporting short term relief & disaster projects as well as long term humanitarian alleviation projects regardless of race, nationality, geography, creed and colour.http://www.betacharitabletrust.org/projects
