Story
It will be cold, it will be muddy, there will be obstacles across an Army testing site and I'm not sure these Army types will be that friendly! We will probably be shouted at, wet, miserable, cold...and hopefully helped through the mud and water, but I'm not betting on it. Let's hope we don't get pneumonia, a fever, electrocuted (although this may very well be a reality)...so why? Why would you spend your Sunday in this misery, in the depths of freezing December? Why are you training in the early hours in the hope you can make an attempt at those monkey bars!?...
To raise money for MacMillan Cancer Trust - to raise enough money for a nurse (£25 an hour) or for an information and support centre to run (£70 an hour) or to help in any way with those suffering from cancer. We have all lost someone close to us and know of people battling or surviving from this disease...so please give generously and think of others, as we come into the season where we all realise how lucky we are to have our loved ones around us.
