My name is Alice Frost and I am 16 years old and I am planning to trek the Great Wall of China in September 2013. In order to do this I have to raise £3600. I have had alopecia for a year and a half now and it has affected my life greatly but not all for bad reasons. I am learning how to live with having no hair now but people forget that alopecia is not only just hair loss, it is an autoimmune disease too (which basically means my body's immune system is attacking itself) so it can be very difficult sometime. I want to make a difference for my chosen charity Alopecia UK to support girls out there like myself who need support from people who understand.
