In May 2021 Thora died, a couple of years shy of her 100th birthday. 

Thora was a prolific painter and left hundreds of paintings, sketch books and other artworks and we really want them to go to good homes where people will be able to appreciate them as we can't keep them all!  

So I, her only Grand-daughter Alice, am selling off some of her best work (in my opinion) over on Instagram at @thorasartfund in aid of Arts 4 Dementia. 

Although she refused to be diagnosed, we are fairly certain that she had dementia in her final few years. Arts 4 Dementia provide arts opportunities to empower people affected by dementia, and this is why I have selected them as the beneficiary. 

How it works: pick a painting you want from the Insta Grid, comment to claim it, give your donation here (minimum donation specified on the post) and Alice will be in touch to arrange delivery or collection if local - donations have been so generous postage is now free! 

Donations without purchase are obviously welcome too! :) £100 pays for a workshop programme so I'd love to reach this amount.
