Hello everyone!

Thanks for taking a look at my JustGiving page. As some of
you may know I have been selected to volunteer overseas with VSO on an International Citizen Service placement to Tanzania.

My first challenge is to raise £800 towards the work of VSO and their ICS partners by my departure date at the beginning of July. The money raised will go towards enabling the overall costs of ICS, ensuring projects can continue within the developing world to make a lasting difference in disadvantaged communities.

Over the next few months I will be doing a range of fundraising activities in order to reach my target, from bag packing, cake sales, sponsored events, challenges and anything else I can think of!

My grandad always used to say, ‘look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves’ which I believe to be incredibly wise words, so maybe this month, buy two less cups of coffee or have one less pint and instead donate the few pounds saved to this charity.

Any contributions or fundraising ideas/help will make a real difference to the lives of people in developing countries such as Tanzania and will
mean a huge amount to me personally.
