Lotus Circle funds are fuel funds which allow The Asia Foundation to make an enormous difference to women and girls across Asia.

 Examples of what TAF has achieved with your help: 

• $3,700 supported 100 vulnerable female-headed families in Sri Lanka  with cash grants and seed packets for home gardens during the economic crisis; 
• $5,000 helped 35 pregnant women from conflict-affected areas to access professional delivery services; 
• $50,000 allowed a long-time, trusted partner of TAF in Afghanistan to  provide emergency support to women and children, including food, shelter, clothing and medical services and;
• $100,000 helped 2023 Lotus Leadership Honorees Aceh Women Forest Defenders Movement (AWFDM) and HAkA fight against wildlife poaching and for environmental protection in Indonesia.

On April 26 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in NYC , we are honoring Gloria Steinem for her lifetime fight for women’s rights and climate justice, and google.org for groundbreaking investments supporting women’s empowerment, as well as AWFDM and HAkA.
