I know that at this time of year with Christmas not far away, it can be difficult to spare a few pounds for charity, especially when so many are asking for funds. 

Sadly, this is also the time of year when people often decide to discard their older dogs and replace them with a new puppy.  Fortunately, LRRSE are there to help these unwanted Labradors.  However, sometimes the Labradors who come into the care of LRRSE haven't been looked after properly and need veterinary care, or need to be neutered before they can be adopted. As we know, vet bills can be expensive and as a charity, LRRSE completely rely on donations to meet the costs of these vet bills.  Having adopted many rescued Labradors over the years, most of whom have come from LRRSE and have given us a huge amount of love and pleasure, I want to give something back to LRRSE and help the charity rescue and care for even more unwanted Labradors.

If each of my friends could spare the cost of a takeaway coffee, glass of wine,  packet of cigarettes or a couple of magazines,  and donate to LRRSE, the charity would be so very grateful, and so would I.
