St Ann’s Hospice provides care and support to people with life-limiting illnesses, their families and carers in Greater Manchester. Through the generosity of our supporters, all our care is provided free of charge and makes a real difference to those who we support.

Story

St Ann’s Hospice is so very close to our family hearts, having looked after Dad at the end of his days with dignity and respect when he passed away on his birthday in December 2013

Since then my brother, Mark, myself and our lovely Mum have all been avid supporters of St Ann's doing as much as we can, including charity bike rides, walks, running etc and both Mum and myself helped out at the Summer and Christmas Fairs.  Mum also started a new career aged 77 as a 'trolley dolly' at St Ann's serving drinks to the patients, carers and visitors a few afternoon per week

Well now The Duffy Family dynamics have changed yet again, as our lovely Mum, Val passed away on 30th July 2018, leaving Mark and I to keep the support going in anyway we can!  We even blatantly had a blue St Ann's plastic bucket on show at Mum's 'Leaving Do' raising over £600 on her 'Final Gig'...thank you to everyone who donated to this fantastic hospice and to a fabulous  beautiful Mum, Grandma, Auntie and Special Friend to many...
