It's 4 years since my last sabbatical and charity trek so I'm off on another adventure. In November I'm going to tackle parts of the Great Wall of China. I will be trekking for 5 days in some remote and steep areas of the wall, with at times some almost vertical steps, for 9 hours a day, it will be very challenging! You may have seen me training at Roman Camp and along the coastal path.

All my sponsorship money will go to the award winning Holt Youth Project, a fantastic local charity which enables young people to reach their full potential.Most people don't realise that Holt has 24% child poverty and this extremely impressive charity helps some of the most disadvantaged to turn their lives round.They also support young carers aged 7-16 yrs and your donation could pay for a day out for one of these very deserving children.We will of course be paying all our own expenses for travelling and the trek so that every penny we raise goes directly to helping the charity.
