In loving memory of my darling dad John Hickey.  
Dad & I were always up first on the dance floor a foxtrot or a quick step, he would sweep me off my feet. I haven't had any professional training, only dancing with my darling dad. My Fred Astaire!

When dad got very ill with Lung Cancer, he was unable to dance but we would talk fondly about our dancing days! He visited the old Bury Hospice off Dumars lane as a daycare patient, where he would get love, care and attention from the dedicated nurses.

I would give anything to dance with my dad again.

Doing Strictly 2019 will give me the opportunity to dance in honor of his memory and raise lots of money for this great place!
