It is over, I finished and I am still alive. As far as the time goes, it could have been better, but then again this was the first marathon, and the aim was to finish. Under 5.05...

It was a great race and if it hadn't been for my Kenyan friend, who joined me for a few kilometers in the middle, I would not have made it. My legs are quite sore, and if you want to see something funny, watch me try to walk up or down stairs. Something as basic as a roadside curb can take me completely by surprise.

Thank you very much to everyone that has donated. I would not have been able to do it without your support. I really am incredibly grateful, and I really did think of you all along the way.
