I am joining a small group of volunteers for 2 weeks in Gujarat, India in December 2015. We are going to set up a free acupuncture pain clinic available to anyone who needs and wants treatment and also to train local medical professionals in order to create a sustainable alternative health care clinic.

 I was drawn to World Medicine which is a charitable organisation because I feel drawn to India a country which I love and getting the opportunity to provide complementary and alternative healthcare to people is amazing. The charity does projects around the World; it is non-political, non-religious, and non-profit-making.  They do incredible work, making a huge difference to people's lives and health all over the world.
