As the first shafts of sun fall on the daffodil faces, it is time to prepare to set out yet again for the banks of the Grand Union Canal. There, to stroll from dawn to dusk, windlass in hand, guiding the Captain through the many locks and adversities twixt Rugby and Twickenham. Sore feet are salved by liquid evenings of merriment then precious few hours of snored slumber before nature's alarm clock.

This is my fifth Walk4Matt and the reasons why can be found by a visit to the Foundation's page. There are more personal reasons, such as a week's peaceful sleep for Maggie, plus the healthy life style of a few days walking in the country but I don't think you need too much of my encouragement to donate to a good cause.
