Brighton Marathon 2010 · 18 April 2010 ·

Helen & Douglas House helps local families cope with the challenges of looking after a terminally ill baby or child who will die prematurely. We are a home from home for our patients and their families, and provide round-the-clock care in a warm, loving environment.

Story

Thank you very much for your donations.

We both had a great day. In retrospect. The heat made running difficult, but there was great support from the crowds

Our finish times were:

Alistair - 3hrs 14mins

Pete - 3hrs 50mins

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On Sunday 18th April 2010, Pete and Alistair will be running the Brighton Marathon. It will be the first marathon for both of us after starting on the odd lunchtime run at work a couple of years ago.
We both feel extremely lucky to have healthy and happy families, and can barely imagine how terrible it must be for a family when a child becomes seriously ill.
Helen & Douglas House provide respite care for families in this situation and we would be very grateful for all the support you could give them and us.
