Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge · 14 December 2019

We’re Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), and we’re a suicide prevention charity. We host a helpline for people affected by suicide, as well as vital online resources for anyone who needs them.

Story

We are a team of four mates from the Army, Royal Marines and Fire service who are competing in the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge, which is a 3000 mile rowing race across the Atlantic from the Canary Islands to the Caribbean. We are racing in support of CALM, the award winning suicide prevention charity.

With 84 men a week in Britain taking their own lives, we are extremely proud to be raising money to help CALM continue making a difference. Currently, they received 6000 calls a month on their helpline. With our target, we aim to allow CALM to extend their helplines up to 12 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Every donation is massively appreciated!
